Lyle Willits Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Chopped Merc convertible, with full fade fender line, tailight holes filled, vent windows, interior side panels, dog legs, convertible boot, arm rests and window cranks and Carson style top. This is going to Reps & Mins, but it will be a little while before he can get this out. Norm is fanatical (as he should be) about getting orders filled and sent to customers. So he has a little backlog due to the holidays and his priority is his excellent customer service before starting a new project.
Raul_Perez Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 That looks really nice, Lyle!! Do you have pics from the rear angles? Did you correct the location of the rear end of the door panel line with respect to the door opening?
Lyle Willits Posted January 6, 2008 Author Posted January 6, 2008 Did you correct the location of the rear end of the door panel line with respect to the door opening? Yes I did,,,otherwise there would be no point to cast the kit panels. The original Revell pieces also had NO front door line at all.

Good job, Lyle!! Looks like I'll have to get one when they're available. It'll look great sitting with my new Danbury Mint Hirohata Merc (even though the scales are a little bit different...). Regards,
JAFFA Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 ehr... i dont have anything very special to say, so ill just say: Good job so far!, and: looking nice!
