philo426
I recently traded for a MPC Dukes of Hazzard Charger and wondered if its chassis would fit an old MPC '69 Daytona gluebomb body I had.Low and behold it fit perfectly and the charger hood fit as well.I had used the body as a paint test mule and decided to strip it down.Westly's Bleech White did not work as it does on my enamel glue bombs so i decided to try the alcohol I use to thin the Tamiya paint with. I applied it to a coarse terry rag and rubbed it onto the body.Removed the paint with a little elbow grease and did not damage the plastic.I used clear pack tape to remove the K&K Insurance decals and with a little body work should be ready for primer and paint soon.An effective ,inexpensive Tamiya Acrylic paint stripper!
