Smokey And The Bandit

Hello,

I`am searching for a good scan of the SMOKEY and the BANDIT Decal that came with the ERTL Great Dane Trailer. I also searching for information and PICTURES of the Hobbs Trailer in Part 1. I know it was a 48ft Trailer with a Thermo King Refrigation unit. I like to build the Kenworth with original trailer from Smokey and the Bandit Part 1 and after this I like built the Gmc General from Part 2. Was the Trailer (Part 2)in original a Great Dane?

I can't help you with the ID of the trailer but you will probably find some photos of it at Internet Movie Car Database.

I've seen those on ebay. They are not cheap though. Search for Bandit in the model section. Or try finding the kit itself.

The trailer from part 1 is actually a 40 ft trlr. It bears a very strong resemblance to AMT's Fruehauf Reefer. The reefer unit from the Great Dane reefer kit used with the Fruehauf trailer should present a close match.
