Right colors/paint for new Sox and Martin?

I am interested in building the new Revell Sox and Martin 'Cuda but wanted to know which would be the right colors to use for the blue and red areas. Also, which paint would you guys recommend?

Bright Red.... Dark Metallic Blue....

One of the model paint companies sells authentic Sox and Martin colors. Model Car World I believe, I'll check. For my TLAR model I'll probably just used Tamiya Pure White, Italian Red, and Mica Blue. I saw a Sox and Martin built in one of the magazines using those colors and it looked plenty good and I already have all in stock.
