Question regarding tamiya weathering master sets

Hi,

I'm planing on using the set to weather my Mercedes rally car but I'm not exactly sure how to seal it. Will the Mr Hobby Aqueous color flat clear diminish the effects or should i just leave them unsealed?

I've read that some people use isopropyl alchohol as a fixer but since I'm painting with acrylics i don't think it's a good idea.

I have never bothered to try to seal them. They are not like some powdery weathering materials that might need to be fixed or sealed.

Well they seem to adhere but still when i run my finger across them they fall off. Thst's why I'm wondering how they can be sealed.
