Lovefordgalaxie Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 This one is about four years old, after a total rebuild. I got it from a friend in pieces. Striped the paint, and did my best to save the kit. W-409 Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Very good looking Poncho! Nice to see you building these GM cars, too (There's nothing wrong with Fords, though). This is maybe the best Catalina I've ever seen as a scale model. The wheel and tire choice is perfect, those fit spot on to the look and your paint job is excellent, too. Also great job painting part of the grille with body color.
DynoMight Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Before it was okay, and then you re-did it and now, wow that looks good. Great save Tulio..
bbowser Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Beautiful! Great paint work, I love the interior colors.
Guest Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 (edited) Very nice save. Edited July 25, 2014 by midnightprowler
Lovefordgalaxie Posted July 26, 2014 Author Posted July 26, 2014 Thanks guys!! Just couldn't let myself to trow it away. It was very rough before, and I got as a challenge to make it look as good as it would if I had built it from a new kit.
peekay Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Very fine work Tulio! The interior is just right and the whole thing looks almost real in most shots.
