S. Svendsen Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Here's another one from my way back machine. I built this chopped top Johan '68 Chrysler 300 back in '89. It's full of all the trendy '80's style custom touches from that period. You can read all about and see more pics at the link. http://www.svensworldofwheels.com/68300page.html
Tonioseven Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Beautiful work!! I had a Jimmy Flintstone body that looked similar to this.
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Fine proportions and flow on that top chop job. Those big sloping sail panels take some work and vision to get right. Great looking images.
Matt T. Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Monochrome, graphics & billet wheels. NICE period piece!
gwolf Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 That's nice! Beyond the great build, I love the 80's colors and graphics.
Maxicoop Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Sean, that is an awesome build from the 80's love the colors !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jordan 191 Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Awesome! Someday there will be traditionalists who insist that this is the only acceptable style.
Custom Mike Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Period piece or not, this is a beauty Sean! Great choice of colors, the grille is my favorite part!
58 Impala Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 (edited) Very cool, that would be a nice cruiser in 1:1. Edited August 2, 2014 by 58 Impala
Grumpa Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 This is really cool Sean! I thiink that the chop actually makes the car look even longer! The fender skirts are a great addition. You definitly took the '50's/'60's custom into the '80's with this one.
DeeCee Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 That is a super cool custom, love the color too, Great Job !!!
BSB Racing Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 When I saw the year and model of this car on the title of the post I thought, who in their right mind would chop and customize this year and make of car! I clicked on your post only to find WOW! If you aren't in your right mind, stay right where you are. That build is beautiful! Very nice work.
misterNNL Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 I like the long, low look of this build.Putting these big cars on the ground really makes them look even longer and dropping the roof adds another layer of low-slow street kool to it.
