Mn police officer being laid to rest

Officer Scott Patrick was making a normal traffic stop in mendota heights MN when the driver shot and killed Officer Patrick. It's pains me that this happened and I feel for for his family and friends.

Sad to hear that a man that helps keep the peace died doing it . We have people here in australia that say they hate the police , but when ever somebody belts them or breaks into their place the first phone call is to the police .

Did they get this bucket of puss that shot him ? Sorry to his family .

Yes they did in fact the murderer Brian Fitch was shot several times by other officers while trying to apprehended him and is in the hospital. He is facing 12 charges including murder as soon as he gets out of the hospital. I hope he rots in jail for a long time since we don't have the death penalty here in Minnesota

I can't tell you how angry it makes me when I hear kids at school say " I hate cops" etc it's beyond disrespectful, what they do to protect us is amazing. My fellings go out to his family may he rest in peace

In my career we buried nine officers killed in the line of duty.

Another ten officers took their own lives, as did two Medics.

Three, including my best friend, were killed in off duty accidents. One, a decorated SWAT commander fell off his roof, my girl had a tractor roll over on her at her farm, the third drowned.

It is never easy.
