Junior73 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 The Duke's cahrger frame is fitting fairly well, but the rear wheel wells are nonexistant. How would I go about creating a factory style wheel well???
Junkman Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Use the chassis from the Revell Charger. It's superior in every way.
Junior73 Posted January 17, 2008 Author Posted January 17, 2008 But it wouldn't be as much fun if I used a better chassis......seriously, I didn't even think of pulling one of my Revell Chargers out. Grabbed this one because I knew it would never be built...
Junkman Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 I hear you talkin' m8. Nice to see the old school approach is alive and well. If I was you I'd do some major plastic surgery with evergreen. I know this isn't really helpful, but that's what I would do. You'll have to do this one on foot, unless you are in for some major kitbashing. OR: Do you have some deuce rear fenders left from a highboy project? If not, start a 32 higboy project and cut the redundant rear fenders down to make wheelhousings for your Mopar.
bobss396 Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Paint the whole works underneath flat black and no one will ever notice it.
Semi Trailer Mechanic Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 What's goin' on... Try cutting down a spray paint (can) cap. Like a wheel tub only cut the height/depth to fit and coutour the edge to the inside of the quarter panel until it fits uniform. I haven't tried this but I've heard of it being done.
