Tires for the 1/16th Hawaiian FC?

First time poster with a question..

I'm not too fond of the kit supplied rubber. Any ideas of a better source for 1/16th scale slicks?

Nope. Comp Resins makes an M&H Racemaster slick in 1/16, but it's the same dimensions as the Revell tire. Flashpoint Resin used to make some great aftermarket slicks, but they discontinued them a while ago.
