Since it's been 20 years since this car was released I wanted to do a custom build to celebrate one of my favorite ponies post-13862-0-77160300-1410709577_thumb.j so far I added the saleen speedsters spoiler and hood( which is being striped of paint) post-13862-0-41424200-1410709710_thumb.j

I also am using the seats from the saleen and the brakes from the cobra as well. I'm not sure what color I'm going to paint it or what wheels to use I'm always open to ideas

Hard to beat a canary yellow gt. I had one new in 95. I added the 94/5 cobra nose and spoiler, lowered it, tinted it and had over the top stripes painted on in a custom pearl canary yellow. You could not see them in certain light and they were just a subtle ghost stripe set in the sun. I mainly took it to shows. Got lots of compliments. Not many spending that kind of money modding a brand new car in those days. Traded it for my cobra in 97 which I still have. Now my daughter is rocking a nice 94gt in lazer red. Her first car. Just turned 16 in june

Honestly from all the ones I have or have had, for a first car the sn95 cars are wayyy better than a fox. More comfortable, handle and brake better and you can get them cheaper than a fox in similar shape. Just stay away from 96-8 gt's they are slooooooowwwww lol. My son just got his learners and he is saving money. Should have 5-6 k by next summer and he wants an 85/6 Capri RS. We already have 3 but will likely get him a nice driver
