brewsterg6 Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 (edited) It's finally done! A little accident with the black fenders slowed me down! I painted them with Testors Model Master Black because I was out of Tamiya black. A month later I forgot what I had used, and sprayed Tamiya on for a second coat. OOPS!!! Any way, here's the end result. The interior is not all that great. The colours for a factory one were hard to match, so it's a variety of browns and grey. I will try to get a pic of it later when it is done drying. The hubcaps are from the Revel '41 kit, and although they look nice, are the wrong year. Thank-you to everyone for your kind words and encouragement. Here's where it fits in the collection... Edited February 13, 2008 by brewsterg6
dustym Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Well done ! I would have never noticed the caps were not for that. It looks right at home in your collection.
forwardlook60 Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Very cool model indeed....glad that you decided to keep it factory stock. I love the imagination that you used in your decal selection as well. Great job!
FordRodnKustom Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Now that's good work. Nice back conversion. Perfect colors and look. Nice job!
Raul_Perez Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 That's a real nice collection of cars you have there, Bruce!! Are any of them diecast, or are they all models that you've built? Regards,
brewsterg6 Posted January 20, 2008 Author Posted January 20, 2008 (edited) Lots of nice comments guys. Thanks a lot! Raul's got a sharp eye as well... They are all models I have built, except the '50 hardtop. I am going to use all the trim and tires on it to turn an AMT '51 kit into a '50 Convertible some day... But that's a few projects into the future, and I work real slow at this!! Here's the interior... Edited February 13, 2008 by brewsterg6
