JoeBrown Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 hey guys i just got a kit off ebay for 7 shipped to my door. but it didn't come with pins to put the wheels on. what were they made out of? metal? and does anyone have any they are willing to part with??
Guest Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Find a piece of styrene rod that will fit the hole in your wheel backs, heat the end, mash it on a flat surface to mushroom it, put it through your wheel back and cut to length. You'll have a lot better pin than the sloppy fitting steel pins that come in the kits. If I had some, I would send them to you. But, I always pitch and replace them.
MsDano85gt Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 also certain finishing nails make great sturdy replacements.....
