Carbon fibre custom decals

I was wondering what the process would be to make custom carbon fibre decals? Mask the area i want to apply to make the shape i want to make, and then cut it out on carbon fibre sheet? would carbon fibre be easily bent in one piece or will i need a solvent or better to use multiple pieces of carbon fibre? (i want to decal off the black roof part)
