Thanks Todd I appreciate it, but the 1 on ebay looks like a regular cowl hood... plus I won't spend money if I can build it and that hood is a cross between a stock 67-69 hood and a 98-02 we ram air/war bird hood

Started the hood once I finish the top of the scoop I'll go and Dremel The Bottom out

Got some cage work done, need to add a few more bars and funny car cage then sand all the joints smooth.

Shaved the drip rail, window trim lines, and shaved the wiper cowl.. added a piece of plastic to the wiper cowl to make it look like the scoop on the stock hood is longer.

Hey Chris,

Your really rockin on this bird. I notice in the later photos you are using the stock 400 hood, did you give up on the custom hood or are you just using the 400 hood for mock up while building?

Also, could you post a photo of the detail work you did on the front cowl / windshield wiper area? You did some detail work there that I can see very clearly and I am very curious what that looks like.

This Chris I'll try to get u some better pics, as for the other hood I started it and went for a test fit and it was warped bad! I just didn't Feel like messing with it anymore, maybe I'll mess with it again sometime

Thanks Fred I appreciate it, I prefer the stock hood myself I was going to make the cowl hood so I had options, but I'm not worried about having to hoods to do the work I know that sounds lazy lol

I really like the way this is going. I'm all about small tire cars that don't look like they would run like crazy. Stockish body, tucked cages, you know the I look like an 11.0 car but am an 8.50 car type thing
