Body cut

I have a few Dodge Dakota kits And I want to make one of my 1:1 Dakota that I drive. My Dakota is a standard cab and as you all know the kit is an extended cab. What would any of you suggest on how to cut down the cab, Frame and interior tub.

I've had good luck using Dymo plastic label tape as a straightedge. you could score it a few times with the back of a hobby knife to give your saw a place to seat.

I'd cut the cab right behind the door first then the back cab wall . If you have the patience don't cut straight across the roof but cut out a tab so you have more gluing surface and rigidity also I would recommend using acrylic fingernail filler (located in the nail polish section) for the adhesive this stuff dries hard and strong perfect for this type of work. Once the cab is done figure out where to cut the interior tub then the chassis. for cutting the body I'd use the back of an xacto blade takes a long time but worth the effort . the interior and chassis you can use a saw because the cuts won't be that visible .
