slusher Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 I have a model that was molded in red. Its a light to medium tan after paint and has been sitting waiting for me to build. What would be a good interior color other then black that would look good.??? I was thinking a burgundy satin. Would like to hear some ideas before I paint it.....Thanks
Snake45 Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Brown (some call it "tobacco" or "saddle"). Or a darker shade of tan than the exterior. Or white with black dash and carpet. A dark green would be an out-of-the-box option.
Ramfins59 Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 You could always go with a Leather color for the interior which would compliment the Tan exterior. But, as Ben asked, what car is it?
hgbben Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 I think burgundy would look good on that kit with a tan exterior.
slusher Posted December 15, 2014 Author Posted December 15, 2014 Thanks Ben, I think I will go with a satin burgundy. Kind of don't want brown on brown...
hgbben Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Burgundy was a common color for the interior for many 80's GM cars and trucks
