Impalow Posted April 2, 2015 Author Posted April 2, 2015 Thank you all for your comments and kind words!! I think i finally have an idea for the windsheild, and the parts to make it work.. just need to get up the courage to slice off the exsisting frame. I have a quick little update, I thrashed a bit to get everything back together for last sundays Detroit show's "primer" table. It was great to get the truck out of the basement, and some other eyes on it.. It was also nice to have it on display next to my buddy Andy's exceptional work. Here are some photos of the new parts, as well as it on display at the show. Made a fuel block and gauge: Some new rear springs with a little more realistic wire size: ScaleDreams Drive shaft unit... Modified to be a smaller diameter(the clearence will increase more with body mounts): Here is a shot of the assembled chassis: Start of the front bumper, made from styrene rod and a grille from the AMT 49 merc: Mounted to frame: and with the body on,still planing on making end pieces that wrap around: And finally photos at the show!!!
