BLOODBANE Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) Here is my take on the Firestone FORD from AMT. I will add to a micro RC, but this is just the truck so far. I scratched the bed/roll cage and then shortened and dove-tailed the bedsides, cab is stock. I based this build off an old 73, 3/4 ton I used to have (not built like this). First time doing this on my own, and not perfect, but I like it. I didnt completely wire the engine, but added the heater hoses, battery cables, somewhat of a regulator, Old FORD ignition box, brake booster from an old CJ kit with vacuum line an washer res.. Like I said, not perfect and just using thread for the lines (except heater hoses). This is what it looks like on the chassis... On a RC, so I wont go into that here. I went with the Rootbeer Brown (my truck was this color) and overall, Ive had a lot of fun doing all this (still looking for the resin 73-75 grill. I seen them on a website, but didnt mark it). Will definitely help me do more scratch building in the future. I am working on the front bumper, with winch, right now. Thanks for looking. Edited January 18, 2015 by BLOODBANE
