So I figured since I've been asking for help with this car I might as well share some progress on this build. I bought the Fujimi 1/16 scale Lambo Countach LP500S with some great expectations, lets just say it's been kind of an up hill battle, a labor of love. A lot of cleaning and sanding parts to get them to fit together, a lot of flash, assemblies not wanting to fit together, a lot of gaps especially in the body, you know how it goes. I found a replacement color to the Boyd's True Blue Pearl, Model Master Blue Pearl, which turned out real nice. I decided not to motorize it because of the sacrifice in detail, but with some help from the guy at the hobby store I want to at least do the lighting on it.

Just stumbled on this pic of Rod Stewart's LP400 Spyder....me thinks this project may a change in direction. What say you?

Meh

Were you building it as the Walter Wolf blue one?

A motorized 1/16 model is pretty much an accident looking for a place to happen. I motorized a few 1/24 Japanese kits as a kid, when they came with the motor. All of them had spectacular crashes.

No motor in this one, it's staying on the shelf. I just thought blue would look good on this, then I saw a picture of that spyder, and thought that looked pretty cool too.

Did some "dry fitting" last night and it looks like I need to do some hogging on the headlight opening, I think the headlights, and their openings are the same size. I also need some help, if you look to the passenger side "A" pillar you can see the where the door portion of the pillar is jetting out, is there an effective way to straighten that out?
