The wife and I went out shopping with our tax return so I hinted at getting more models and paint. An she said we will see. So what do I do? We get in there and I go straight for the model section. I got a 1974 Plymoth GTX on clearance.

A 2006 Camero for not so clearance price.

And a ?Gloss Cote? not sure what this is for but I am assuming a clearcoat. Flat grey Primer, Flat Black, Lime gold metallic flake, Gloss orange (my favorite), and transparent Hot Rod Red, all these are spray paints.

Also got the lime gold metallic flake in the little bottle to brush on along with aluminum and a drop cloth.

It's always nice to get a few things like that when you can splurge a bit.

As a side note, just so you know, you can use coupons on clearance items at Michael's. Next week Sunday will have a 40% coupon and the week after that their will be a 50% off coupon which can be used on clearance model kits. So those $9 clearance kits will be $4.50 now! At that price you know they'll be bought up!

Wow, Nice. You picked up some great kits & supplies,

I went to Michaels on Saturday and got a can of spray paint, but my coupon was expired and I paid full price for it. still not too bad at $4.30.

I have been using the coupons to buy spray paint, to stock-up my inventory for the last several months.

The 40% & 50% off coupons are in the Sunday newspaper. Its not a weekly thing, buy most of the time they are on the advertisement. its a great resource for the modeler on a budget.

and like Chris said, use it to buy those clearance kits to save even more, because you can't find kits for $4.50 anymore.

Enjoy your new stuff, and don't forget to post pics of your new kits built.

Ron.
