mark33 Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Hi everyone, I'm new to modeling and am looking forward to creating some neat "weathered" muscle cars etc. I am in the market for an airbrush / compressor and want to get a decent one (doesn't need to be the best; but don't want junk). Anyway, I was hoping some of you could give me some advice on a good starter model. I've never used an airbrush before nor do I know the best place to buy one. I've been looking at used ones on ebay but not sure if it's something I should just purchase new. Any and all advice is appreciated. If it matters, I will most likely be weathing die cast cars (like Ertl's 1/24 scale) that are already detailed. Which type of paint would you recommend? Any advice? By the way, my first project (my original inspiration to get into the hobby) is my real 69 GTO. I want to do a model of my car as a rust bucket. Thanks For Any & All Input, Mark
