Bullitt Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 While installing the mirrors on my 71 cuda, I have gotten glue on the doors below the mirrors. Any suggestions on removing the glue before I paint? Thanks
Belugawrx Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 What type of glue? If the body isn't painted yet, you should be able to sand and buff the glue out. I would take the mirrors off, to get a smooth surface. Then put a pin into the base of the mirror, and drill a corresponding hole in the body for an easier locate. Good luck Cheers
Snake45 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 I'd let it dry thoroughly and then carefully block-sand it off. You actually lucked out--better to have this happen now than after paint.
