Your paint looks great . My sister just gave me the same kit the other day. I looked at my kit and I think if you want to build the engine with a high rise intake, you can't use the hood scoop. The scoop is used on regular intake , with 4-barrel set up. That is the way its on Smokey Convoy Chaser.

Nice build, I built the original yellow one box stock and have a second one I'm making into a convertible. Ive been driving my !:1 for 21years and never had a mullet

Hi Joel, Looks like its going to be a nice build,love the rims you put on. Years ago, I worked with a guy who had the real car.He painted it candy apple red and put a vette motor in it.He later sold it to buy a corvette. Keep us updated on the build. Ron
