glue and primer use for fresh resin kit.....

Recommended Posts

Going to modify the notchback mustang body and change the nosecone(front clip) to a 79 pacecar look which is very similar to 82 gt look). I'm needing to know what glue to use (I always use testors orange) and what type of primer to use on the "resin" before paint goes down. Also what do I strip a resin body with had a bad experience stripping a dodge demon body I had in resin.... What types of scribing tool should I use to freshen up panel lines? I typically use the new no.11 blade bacwards any help much appreciated!

2 part Epoxy or Super Glue ONLY on Resin!!!!

Model Cement will Not work!!!!!!

And Yes I have worked with resin.

Old Wheat's Nostalgia 58 Edsel Pacer kit was my First.

I have some of Bob Swartz Model Cars And Parts pieces.

I lent him both my PMC 59 Ford Ranchero & Country Sedan Wagon bodies for casting.

I got a couple of the first pours of both.

Also have one of JR Heyer's 58 Edsel Bermuda's I am building as a Villager. I got an extra roof too.

Neither of these 3 are still casting, though I think Joe Wheat is still selling his "Promo"type builds

as well as original Promos too.
