The Madhatter
Are the tires to tight around the rims forceing them off? If so maybe you could try removing some material from the inside diameter of the tire to make the opening a little larger. Good luck

Semi Trailer Mechanic
What's goin' on... I'm guessing this is one of the AMT 359 kits. Install the tires so the bead is flush w/ the front lip of the rim. Apply a small amount of super glue to the back side (only) of the tire's bead to the rim then install the lock ring. Raul_Perez
Clay, I've fixed similar problems with the tires on the 1:8 scale 32 Ford by stuffing them with tissue. The tissue helped them keep their shape, which in turn helped them stay on the rims. Later,

Clay
My problem is, I got ahead of my self on this one, because of wanting it to get done and put the hubs, tires and wheels on. Its hard to get them apart because they are snap on.
george 53
Clay, If you can get the outer rim off, squeeze the nub that come thru the center of the back half of the rim with a pair of tweezers to get the nub to slip out of the rim. there should be a slot cut vertically into the nub just squeeze the sides of the nub an pull the wheel back off.
