MkowaPhD
*More Pictures* http://s21.photobucket.com/albums/b262/mko...0Ranger%204DSD/ I just completed the Edsel Ranger 4door Sheriff car. I used the the AMT Edsel 2 door Pacer kit, made the sedan posts, rescribed the body for a 4 door car. I also used a 67 Ford 427 for its block to replicate a 430 MEL engine which a few Pacers were found to have had..all Canadian cars. I used the "what if?" method of apprioach also. If they found a couple of 430's in the Ford based Ranger/Pacer series, what prohibits me from adding a Paxton supercharger as the 57 T-Birds and Fords had them as an option on the 312 series engines. Here she is... -Mike Edited August 26, 2007 by MkowaPhD

MkowaPhD
MIKE!! Good to see you made the jump too. Nice looking car as always. I dig the old cop cars! Thanks Jeff, It's not really a 'jump' just a 'skip!' I'll be in both places. -Mike
lizardlust
Looks good, Doc!! Doesn't exactly foll off the tongue, though - Edsel Interceptor?? I've never seen one in service, but I know that Amblewagon converted a few Edsel wagons into ambulettes. Still, a classy model all the way!! Harry P.
Hey Mike...that's a pretty slick conversion. Nice color too...a little "flashy" for an Edsel cop car, but I guess in the right jurisdiction...
