......LOST.....FOREVER???
MkowaPhD replied to ZIL 111V's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I'd LOVE to see the old Renwal 1966 cars! I can remember some of the box arts, I think I even built the Pierce Arrow! (age 10) Who's sitting on those molds? -Mike -
Announcing the grand opening of Ma's Resin
MkowaPhD replied to cnaind's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Congrats! Nice items, I especially have an affinity for the Amphicar. Back in 72, a female friend had one! Leaked like a cheese grater! Only advice, but when you give a time for delivery, stick with it. Give the customer satisfaction and you will go far. Too many recent resin shops turn up and neglect that portion. Let me know when you get that Amphicar up and running, I'm in for one! -Mike -
Not on a rotisserie yet: Here's how I cut down a 67 Dodge R/T: http://s21.photobucket.com/albums/b262/mko...%20RT%20Junker/ -Mike

MkowaPhD replied to Dingo's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
I have no idea what the 'sniping' is that is going on, but I think that '26 is GD FRIGGIN COOL! -Mike -
Aw c'mon Justin. I just played Tequila pong the other night with my Marine and 3 of his Marine buddies and GF's! Of course when we were done, my Bulldog Mongo looked real good in that grass skirt... -Mike

For my Baptism, do I have to renounce SA-tan? or strap on a belt of competitors magazines wired to go off if I enter any other forum? Just wondering... Thanks all for the great tributes! -Mike

I've built 3 of those so far and none have turned out that nice! Does that mean I have to stop rusting mine so they are nice like that? -Mike

Check my new gun out

OH WOW, so that's the new Glock .0040 caliber undercover semi automatic! I hear you can attach your compressor hose and it shoots .0040 caliber needles at a full automatic 12000 rounds a minute! That ought to replace the old Tek-9's "in da Hoods!" -Mike -
Michael Jackson dead at 50
MkowaPhD replied to Custom Hearse's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Michael Jackson: The ugliest, white woman I ever saw! I know he was acquitted in a court of his peers...but look at his peers...weird Californians! Whoops, an oxymoron there! -Mike -
So Harry, what question are YOU going to pose for readers to respond to? If it gets "emotional" will you threaten to close it? Sorry, I just haven't been here in a long time...I'm thinking of converting! What do I have to do to get baptized? -Mike

*More Pictures* http://s21.photobucket.com/albums/b262/mko...cat%204%20drht/ I built this from the recently available MK/AMT Wildcat. Basically, enlarged the side glass area and rescribed the door lines, added the roof trim and made it a bronze/white two tone car. -Mike

Thanks all! Harry, the veggies are from a Tamaya WWII German detail kit that I resin popped. -Mike

Steve: I used a brown acryllic...let it dry and painted "the Detailer" blac lightly over it. As it was still we, I shot a coat of clear flat over it. It made it look like termites or wood bees burrowed into it! -Mike

*More Pictures* http://s21.photobucket.com/albums/b262/mko...20Farm%20Truck/ I started by using a resin Chevy six cylinder block from the 50 Chevy kit, making a resin copy of the Monogram V-12 head and putting it all together. It later received a resin 57 Chrysler air cleaner... Plenty of "Sophisticated Finishes" two part rust, body damage and my own South Carolina road dust! I added a head lamp assembly dangling from the right front grille.... and plenty of produce! Total build time approx. 8 1/2 hours..hey, when you are building a POS...any mistake helps! -Mike

58 Edsel Ranger 4 door Sheriff car-Some outdoor shots
MkowaPhD replied to MkowaPhD's topic in Model Cars
Thanks Jeff, It's not really a 'jump' just a 'skip!' I'll be in both places. -Mike -
*More Pictures* http://s21.photobucket.com/albums/b262/mko...0Ranger%204DSD/ I just completed the Edsel Ranger 4door Sheriff car. I used the the AMT Edsel 2 door Pacer kit, made the sedan posts, rescribed the body for a 4 door car. I also used a 67 Ford 427 for its block to replicate a 430 MEL engine which a few Pacers were found to have had..all Canadian cars. I used the "what if?" method of apprioach also. If they found a couple of 430's in the Ford based Ranger/Pacer series, what prohibits me from adding a Paxton supercharger as the 57 T-Birds and Fords had them as an option on the 312 series engines. Here she is... -Mike
