Thanks, it's custom mixed using pontiac spec's of vinyl's from '78, BTW the picture of the real interior is after 31 years as a dailey driver. Nice looking build I always liked this bodystyle.. Thanks.
george 53
Nick, it did come out great Kidd-o, BUT the vynil bump strip on the doors is the SAME color as the interior, it's NOT chrome. The only chrome on the side of the car is the rocker panel moulding strip. Other than THAT it's sure a good copy of Ol Jimmy's ride!!!Great job, you dun good!!! Thanks, but actually 2 things wrong with your statement George, for the '77's yes, for the '78's no, and you forgot the wheel well mouldings. Excellent work, Nick. Where's the license plate from the picture that I sent you? Looks like that's the only thing missing. I haven't done it yet, and thanks Wayne. Reeves Racing
Wow a lot of work to get a copy of Jimmy's car. You are a fan! I think I would have still went with a body color side moulding. I am not sure what "Pontiac spec's of vinyl's from '78" chart you were using but it doesn't look like the right color at all. It looks more like a Ford vinyl color. I saw a post at another site and thought it was yours but after a closer look I see it is not. BTW he used that funky brown on his interior too... Go figure.
