VivaLasVanCity
Hi there, I am new to the model world. I just picked up a awesome new 1/12 scale Tamiya Porsche Turbo RSR Type 934 from my local hobby shop, Cameo Stamp Coin & Hobby, Maple Ridge, BC Canada. - It has the item # 12020 From what I can tell, it seams to be a rare model from 1977. So my question is should I just set this aside and keep it in the original factory plastic wrap, or build it. So pretty much want to know if it is rare and should be saved! Thanks for checking out my post. -Matt VivaLasVanCity Thanks for the awesome model guys!!
Ace-Garageguy
There always seem to be a fair number of them on ebay starting at around $100US and selling in the range of $200-$250US. Also available from Tamiya Direct in Australia, so it MAY still be in production. I kinda watch them because I need 2 sets of tires. Mine dry-rotted. Erik Smith
Build it. It's not rare, just an expensive kit.

This guy's prices are a joke. That is the etch parts that come with the latest release of that kit and can be gotten at Tamiya america for about 10-15 dollars. I got the one for the 935 for $10.
