Mike Kucaba
Okay, I started this kit and thought nice clean OOB build, but I have gathered up a good amount of SMS decals. Now how do you find out what is CF? I spent several hours googling, checking out WIP's at AF modeling etc. Éven some of the builders weren't sure about what was CF. This by race car standards is an OLD car and there should have been something. So what do you folks do that build models with this. Also, the template stuff SMS sells is the template on the back of the decal and you cut that out or is this a template that you use on the decal back. Thanks for any and all help. ZTony8
With the Tamiya kits usually the parts that are called out to be flat black are supposed to be carbon fiber(except for things like seat trim).
Mike Kucaba
Well thank you and that's a start . In the instructions there is a brief history describing that the entire bottom pan is composite. I'll go from there spent some time this week cleaning up parts and filling ejector pin divots that would show when finished. Body was nice and clean, not much in prep at all.
