Does this Land Cruiser exist in kit form?

18 June 2015 - 09:46 AM

I'm looking to replicate my work truck (an industrial Land Cruiser), though I know next to nothing about Toyotas. Is there a kit that I can modify to work? They're tough trucks, mine has survived many years of hard, HARD abuse in a Potash mine, and mine is in better shape then most.

A few contest MoPars

09 April 2015 - 07:31 PM

I built the '68 Charger and the '70 Super Bee specifically for a local contest (out of box division), the '68 Dart and '69 GTX I had already on the shelf (detailer division). I didn't win anything, but then I only entered for the fun of it. I bettered myself in a few ways, but rushed through and messed up a few things. All in all, nice cars to have on the shelf. Enjoy, and all comments welcome! (Sorry for the sub-par photos, my iPhone is the only camera I currently own)

Newbie pointers

15 January 2015 - 04:53 AM

I just picked up a bunch of Polar Lights kits (two '70s Petty Chargers and two of the Buddy Baker Chargers, all 1/25), and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on building classic NASCARs. I haven't built a NASCAR for nearly 15 years, and I don't watch it on tv, but reading up on these cars and some of the drivers has proven to be really interesting. I'm planning on using a '69 Charger 500 body (Mario Rossi #22), a '70 Coronet (Bobby Watson #8), and a '69 Daytona (Buddy Baker #71), since only one had a usable body. So any tips or tricks regarding these are very much appreciated!
