I have some pictures I took a bunch of years ago of a roadster dragster. I think the body is a 27 Ford. Flathead engine. Moon tank. Old Firestone slicks. It has a funny car style rollbar and a tube chassis. I did not take any pictures of the rear end. Would a four link be correct for this type of dragster? Would some type of ladder bar be more appropriate? Quick change or Ford nine inch? TIA

I would like to build some sportsman drag race cars. I know that American Satco ([http://www.americansatco.com/]) has some super stock slicks. I was wondering if anyone has a list of other available slicks? I tried some of the Staco slicks on a 98 Firebird and they are just a little too wide. I would like to replicate a car running in one of the stock categories without narrowing the rear chassis. Any ideas? Thanks in Advance.

I tried denatured alcohol on a resin part and it did destroy it.

It is Black Gold Cinnamon Pearl over a Solar Gold base covered with Tamiya gloss. Thanks to everyone for the nice comments.

I have messed up the decals for the Ford Focus WRC 1/24 Sports Car Series No. 217. Kit Item 24217. I called Tamiya and they don't have a replacement available. Anyone have decal sheet "a" (1402424) that they won't be using? Thanks.

Thanks for the info! I have a resin body similar to that but have not made much progress. Is the rear wing from a top fuel kit or is it resin? Is it attached to the body or the chassis? Thanks again.

Incredible work! My neighbor gave me a Unimat Lathe/milling machine. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on beginning machining skills? Are there any good websites, books, or videos? I don't even know where to find aluminum rod to start with. Thanks to anyone that can get me started.

I have been using Black Gold paint. It can result in a great paint job but I am looking for a more plastic friendly paint that gives good results. Is Tamiya spray the way to go? Thanks for any feedback.
