I don't think a portable tank would get me through a paint job. From what I hear, The high pressure tanks can
    go for months on end.

CO2 / Nitrogen for tank for airbrushing
My compressor is far too loud so I'm debating using a high pressure Co2 or nitrogen tank.
Anyone have a preference of one or the other?
    Ballpark cost?
Where to buy in the Denver area?
    General comments welcome.
    Thanks!

Revell willys. Experiment to load photos from a phone. Assuming it works, more projects to follow.

Sorry double post. At any rate someone posted that the 67 chevelle chassis would fit under an AMT 55 chevy post like it was made for it. I don't see an AMT 55 chevy post on tower's website. Would this chassis work under any of the tri five chevys including the nomads from all the manufacturers? Thank you.

    more airbrush questions
looking at Iwata eclipse and paasche talon also don't know enough to decide between gravity feed or siphon. I will be spraying enamels, lacquers and alclad. I would prefer to buy just one new brush. Btw I already own an anthem 155 but I find it difficult to use with alclad. (too much paint not the light fog required for good alclad results) Please only experienced opinions, not rehashes of b.s. online reviews. Thank you for your time. M.G.

    alclad polished aluminum
After getting amazing results with the alclad chrome I attempted to use the polished aluminum and ended up with a basic dull silver finish. Did something go wrong or what. By the way I did use the alclad black before the polished aluminum.

    stripping chrome / alclad
Is there a reason some of you strip the kit chromed parts before applying alclad? I have been leaving the kit chrome intact and over spraying with gloss black then applying the alclad with what appears to be great results. Just curious.

Hello all! My name is Mike Gruenwald. I have been bitten by the bug after a 28 year hiatus! (I'm 41years old) I really enjoy your website and I'm looking forward to soaking everything in which it offers. I live in Denver, Colorado and would like to hear from some local modelers from around here. I'm really looking forward to finishing some of the kits I've purchased in the last month (12 kits) and using my new painting equipment.
