  1. Do you have a store or just here? I like your idea about the wheels but i can tell you from my experience of doing these 1/12 Camaros, we need more tire options than anything.. the first kits that came out came with 14inch GoodYears and slicks, and the newer Foose kit comes with larger style tires BFG's.. theres really no options out there. If your lucky to find tires from a RC car thats great but you are most lickly alone and hope they fit the wheel you have... so yeah we need tire options..?
  2. Looking good so far.. keep building on..
  3. I make them... look through my thread on pro touring and pro street and youll see them. Originally they belonged to a good friend and i modified them to be a little deeper. One is a 15x7 and the other is a 15x8. I have the caps also.
  4. Lol.. passion.. its been a vision i want to fulfil. I have restored real cars and the feeling is the exact same.. accomplishment!! So strive for that if you can...i walk away and just come back, reset, when things dont go your way.. dont be afraid to redo things.. thats my issue..i keep apdating lol... i been sick mentaly and this has been helping me recover..
  5. Thanks.. i been working on this for about 5 yrs now.. if you go through the thread youll see i scracthed built alot of stuff but i stopped and came back to the drawing board.. its almost done, but i changed alot of things on it.. i think for the better.
  6. I was lost for the longest time on color etc.. im very happy i went this route.. its not a full green green color it has a grey in there..looks very different than in the picture..
  7. Now no one think ive stopped on these builds. Things have gotten better with 3D printed parts and with help from friends i have updated my RS grill...car is painted now and almost done. Sneak peak.. updating the LS and other parts.
  8. Unfortunatly Nitro Micro sold the bussiness and the new owner doesnt make them anymore in 1/12... Derrick sold that 57 to me but he used the wheels on his 1/12 Camaro..
  9. I never got a message from you.. maybe something went wrong but yes i scratched built an LS motor and a Mountain Motor for the 1/12 Camaro... i havent really been on here much because i started on a 1:1 project and has been taking up all of my time.. The 3D Ls3 from shapeways is,a beautyfull piece...i bought a complete engine. You wont be dissapointed... my friend Ron Olsen is the owner and he will have many more parts available soon...
  10. Love it Derrick.. glad your building again..
  11. Ive made one in 1/12 scale a few years back..i love building things that are missing in large scale.. yours looks outstanding..props...
  12. Finally was able to put the new motor in Resin.. pretty pleased with it.. i started playing with a Jessel belt drive.. not done yet though..
  13. I built the rear of the block . I also added the exhaust ports to the heads..
  14. Made an oil pan for the new motor using .030 and .040 sheet styrene.. touched it up with filler putty. Im prety happy with it.. motor and pan clear the chassis on the camaro so it should fit other 1/12 cars.
  15. I needed a little brake from the touring car so i started scratch building a Sonny Leanord 700ci Motor for another project down the road..
  16. I did more detail work on the motor.. im getting closer to finishing it so i can start on interior and body..
  17. Started on the front suspension.. its workable. Need to add brake lines, master cylinder, anti sway bar, and more nuts and bolts.
  18. I added more detail to the 1/12 LSX. All the nuts and bolts, sparkplugs, ans AN fittings are from RB Motion. Alclad 2 was used for paints.
