    Anyone know whats up with Tito?

    I miss him posting. His profile says he was last seen here Aug. 6, 2009

    He may be a new papa, his profile pic shows him holding an infant, could be that is why he's not been here in so long.

    If anyone knows anything please PM me or reply to this post, whatever is most appropriate.

  5. Hello there friend!! Hope all is well bro.. As for the dileema at hand I would mos-def throw G.Seeds a PM this fella is wicked with the patterns and how-to techs. I have done patterns and fades on 1:1's however never tried on models. One thing that does come in mind is planning and the actual application of the paint. I practice on old damaged and disguarded models for trial runs like this. Also keep in mind using several colors will require to take yer time applying the paint in light to mist coats. Im no master fella but from experience comes the know-how. All in all you stay cool on the other side.. Give Mr'Seeds a shout.

  7. Hello there friend!! As can be expected Phil you throw down some mean street sweepers.. Gotta admit its an awesome project as far as the kit itself... Is it a common kit to be found? Never seen that year as a model and as far as the rims go .Im sure they both will bring this project to the first place booth but i would go with the first ones. Gives it a no non-sense look!! Keep on wit the keepin on!!

  8. Suave.. cool My LHS only has the old pegasus'rims....Im talking old ---> the gold tone tri fans and such and now I know what the 1109's are.. Only thing close I can get a hold of are the baby d's... Ty for the heads up and again' cool lookin ride!

  9. Hello there friend! Low-lows and high riders are a rare comodity here at this awesome site and when they do grace the pages I love them both in 1:1 and more so in scale. As with all styles of auto designs it carries its own whip appeal.. This is top notch and ya gotta keep on wit the keepin on!! Also its way cool when yer paint is as shiny as those rims. "Where you confiscate those rim from" .... LOL

  10. Hello there friend!! Excellent build and the mods you did make it that more of a " all on the road' look lke the wide trac ponti's that came out few years back.When i looked and this thread it popped up and i thought man some nice chunky side exhaust pipes would look severe on this... All in all' fella awesome model and the dio is lookin cool too. Keep on wit the keepin on!!

  12. :rolleyes::lol: Hey guys,

    I usually wash,dry, and spray topcoat without primers.

    However,I am building the Night Stalker Vette, and it is molded in black.

    I am going to use a bright red for it and need to prime it.I have never done this and

    Would like to pick some brains as to how long to wait to topcoat.

    Does the primer need to gas out for a week or two or can you spray when it is dry to touch????

    Thanks in advance for replies,

    George Bluhm

    Man isnt this a cool kit!! I had this kit and with my luck not all the parts were in the box. I myself got stumped with the body being in a colored plastic and jus mist the coats with a light sanding afterwards. I am interested to hear how others have taken on the colored plastic dilemma.

  15. Hello there friend!! You can count my vote for a must have.. My very first build-up was the only con I had of this kit and I was able to remedy the problem of the kits glass and opted for the acetate sheets. Parts fit quite well and as mentioned awesome detail throughout. My first build-up was for my father- in -law a few years ago. this is the only pic i have of the build. Hope it helps on deciding.
