  1. Hello there friend! Looks like yer off to a great start. The engine looks top-notch... So how do you like working with the airbrush? I personally like them because you are able to control the flow of paint.. change up consistency of the paint they are really cool and effective tools in our hobby.. Keep it coming amigo

  2. I've been lurking since Christmas time, learning tons from everybody. To break the ice, I thought that I would show the WIP of my first model since I was in high school. It's Revell's '69 Camaro Z28 with the RS grill.

Used Tamiya Light Metallic Blue rattle can paint and everything else was just brushed on by hand using Tamiya acrylics -- haven't invested in air brush.

Got a little sloppy in places, especially with my masking job for the chrome trim.

Think I'm going to hit the body with a clear-coat and do some detailing under the car, engine, interior...

    Cheers

  3. Kind of planning ahead for my next shopping spree (please taxman have good news next week ;) ), I'd like to get a good 67-69 Camaro, preferably with the RS option, along with an early 70s 2nd generation Camero. I'd also like a couple of Chevelles, it looks like Lindberg does a nice '66, but I'd also like one of the later styles (68-72?). If I throw in a '69 Nova I should have the early Chevrolet muscle car genre pretty well covered.

    Thanks
