Is this what you are looking for? Golfer made these. Maybe you can make the 429 look like a 428? All it would take is a tiny dab of black paint. I can even send you the 429 so you won’t have to buy the whole sheet. I’ll never use the 429.

Thanks again for the replies. I have a couple manifolds coming from Iceman. I decided to pull the Hemi heads off the moebius engine, and add the heads for a 440. I built a manifold from spare parts to resemble a B1. There is a guy on eBay that has a bunch of resin parts, and I put in a max bid, and was outbid. I’m not going to rebid, as the parts don’t look that great to warrant a higher bid. I think this wedge engine will look pretty good when I’m all finished with it.

Or, just go with an inline, two four barrel set up.

With all the parts in my bins, I can’t find an intake to convert the Moebius Hemi to a single carb hi rise B1 style intake. Does anyone know of someone who casts one? I’ve checked Iceman, and VCG, but came up empty. I already have the hood and scoop set up for an inline type intake over the cross ram style.

The little tabs on the glass slide into the slots on top of the door panels. I’d glue them in first, then assemble. You might have to reach in through the front windshield opening to pry the door panels to make it all pop in. I never tried it the way you suggested, but I’d give it a try. I’ve had problems with the side windows, but on the Dodge cars though.
That Tamiya Titanium Gold looks pretty good on the interior. I’ve been using Champage, with a coat of smoke. So, how do you like building the Moebius AWB cars?

Moebius 65 Coronet, that I plan on building into a solid 9 second drag car. Should look totally streetable, except for the roll bar, parachute, and other safety equipment. Undecided if I want a Lenco transmission, or just use the supplied one behind the hemi. Looking to paint it some shade of blue. This blue car on YouTube got my mind goin’

Thanks again guys. I masked and painted the stripes, and I brushed Vallejo Air on the rear trunk that surrounds the decal.
Yes, getting the body and interior to seat. The two Plymouths I built just seemed to go together easier on final assembly. I don’t know if it’s the tabs on the side windows, or I wasn’t doing something right, but I had to reach into to car through the front windshield and pry the door panels with an exacto knife, to get the tabs in. No big deal though. Still a fun build regardless.

Thanks for the replies.
Yes, Tim, I used the trans from the 68 Hemi Dart kit.

Built this out of the box, except for wires, parachute, and seatbelts. The chute that comes in this kit, is the same one from the Plymouth kits, and doesn’t fit the Dodge properly. Other than that, it’s a fun kit. During assembly the drivers window popped out, so I figured it would be ok with only the passenger window. But then that popped out too. So instead of prying it back apart and chipping the paint, I just left it. I used 2 part epoxy on the Landy cars side windows, and they stayed in place. I have one more Plymouth AWB kit in my stash, and plan on building the Golden Commandos car soon.

I've heard this before
I'm not necessarily trying to truly determine how they were built...More so how they were campaigned at the time
Maybe we can get a list together and get it to be a sticky?

I’ve head that same thing about Smiths car as well. Which reminds me I have to get back to that build as well. Still looking for decent decals, as Fremont doesn’t seem to have them anymore.

The deer family is constantly stopping by since my wife put her bird feeders out.

All I know from what I’ve read, is the short stack cars were stick shift, and the longs were automatic. I’m sure in all the testing and tuning they did in the 60s, some guys did some different things to their cars. One thing is for sure Bill, is the info doesnt come easy on these cars. I just finished the Strickland AWB car, which I cut the stacks, being a stick, and also just finished the Landy car which is an auto with the long.

I always use watch crystal cement for door handles and mirrors. It will allow you a few seconds to get it positioned where you want it.

Probably the longest stretch, but If I want to build a replica of my own car I would probably need that if it exists.
I recently saw one. I can’t remember if it was Harts Parts, or one of the 3-D printers out there, but I know I saw one. I was thinking about doing away with the hose away lights on one of my GTOs as well.
