  1. More progress. I changed up the top of the engine combination and went with something a bit more old school. I also painted and installed the headers.
  2. I'm just making up for lost time. Two years ago I changed careers and stopped being an over the road trucker. For the previous five years I finished one build. Thanks for all of the compliments.
  3. Here is what I have completed for 2019.
  4. They come in the kit with thick antennas attached. I just cut off the plastic antenna and added wire for a better scale look.
  5. Here is a quickie build using a Revell Expedition curbside kit with aftermarket decals.
  6. It's a Rat Roaster intake from a Super Stock Hemi. Also, the decals on the side were from an old 60"s AMT 3 in 1 kit. I was happily surprised that they went on without breaking apart after all of these years.
  7. In the truck wip section I have been building a Peterbilt hot rod style rollback. This is the rat rod that will be mounted on the rollback. It"s pretty much a bunch of pieces and parts from my parts bins.
  8. One last mockup. Really liking the profile.
  9. Side stepped this one for a bit but now I'm back on it. Engine is started, chassis is painted, tires and wheels are painted and decaled and I fabbed a set of wheelie bars.
  10. Reworked the seat and added a driver, for a change of pace.
  11. All of the tire and wheel decals are done. I also added a roof camera. Time to move on to the interior.
  12. Thanks Tom. I also added some light rub marks along the running boards, under each door, where the toe of any boots would scuff the body every time you got into the truck.
  13. Decals are all done and now I'm starting on the tire and wheel details.
  14. Another quickie Revell snap kit and my last set of Pattos decals that I have stockpiled. I made all of the usual adjustments to this kit, fixing the ride height, adding the front splitter, correcting the rockers and adding the exhaust opening. I've always liked how well Pattos decals go on but in this case the issue with the roof decal not fitting is terrible on this sheet. The rally stripes don't even come close to reaching the front edge of the roof. I was going to use some blue decal film to add the missing pieces but I'm out of blue so I had to hand paint them. Not too bad except for I didn't have the color to properly match. It should look o,k, once the body is clear coated.
  15. Tires and wheels are from a diecast. I got all of the glass made and installed, side view mirrors mocked up, cab is permanently in place and did some weathering on the bed and chassis. Also got the fuel tank painted, foiled and installed.
  16. A little more completed. Fuel tank is painted foiled and installed along with the cab visor. I also did some weathering to the chassis.
  17. More to update. Grill mesh and hood pull skull painted and installed. Running boards are painted and installed. Roofrack is painted and installed with toolbox and tarps. Light rack is also painted and installed along with side chassis mounted toolbox.
  18. Tim, did I notice that the AWB 65 will come with two sets of stacks? Both short and tall?
  19. Excellent idea Rickard. I've used these wheels a couple of times now and didn't have major issues but this definitely simplifies the application process.
  20. Got clear coat on the cab, started working on the interior. I decided to go with a rat rod style trans tunnel made up of old Auto World, 61-62 era license plates. The shifter is resin skull and boot from Bandit Resins. The paint is texture light tan and flat black. I also upgraded an old parts box hard hat to go in the interior.
  21. Yeah, even though the wheels are superb they're not complete without the decal.
