RodBurNeR Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 i think it's cool as hell Mj! the slight weathering and color choice looks realistic!
Harold Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Sweet looking Ford. Nice to see a flathead under the hood. Love the color.
Mj-Styro Posted June 2, 2008 Author Posted June 2, 2008 Beautiful build. The slight weathering makes for a convincing daily driver -- Not all classics are show cars but as long as they're loved thats all that matters. BTW, the best way to build is to build something that pleases the builder. If the masses like it thats just gravy, if they dont so what, it aint theirs. PS are those the kit rims?? They are from the '70 Impala kit amt.....modifyed the backs....... THANKS GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its something different!! and i was able to follow it thu!! and did acouple other styles! thoguth it was kool and it sure was a heck of alot of fun!! I'll have to do more of them this year.............
The Modeling Hermit Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Mj, you should never have to apologize for your work, especially when it's that good. I remember when I did a 46 from the IMC kit. I attempted to do some mild weathering, and had a door that was tinted differently from the rest of the body. Nobody ever could get it through their heads that I wanted it that way. I finally stuck it on the bottom level of a car carrier. I can identify with the rain. Around here we have a saying that in the winter it's 40 and raining, and in the summer it's 60 and raining. LOL
