Arnie Beswick 64 GTO drag car

Hi all. I`d like some opinions on which 1964 GTO kit to use for Arnie Beswick`s "Mystery Tornado" drag car. I know the Polar Lights kit has body proportion issues and I`m thinking that might not really be a problem as it`s going to be a race car. I would prefer to keep the scale to 1/25th. The Monogram kit is 1/24th. What do you people think?

I investigated the PL '64 GTO some time ago and concluded that it wouldn't look too bad if the C-pillars of the roof were corrected, a relatively easy fix. 

OTOH, the Monogram GTO is a 2DS body, which is what the Mystery Tornado was. If you go with the PL, you'll have to scratchbuild all the window framing all around on both sides (and it's a lot more than just posts at the doors). 

Like you, I favor 1/25, so if I wanted to do this car, I'd go with the PL and make the necessary mods. (The proper engine equipment will probably be easier to find in 1/25, too.) But if you don't want to mess with the needed mods, the Monogram might work better for you.
