Wildrice
Here is the completed build. This was a fun build. Kinda got me hooked on these Tamiya kits now. Here is the logistics of the build. Paint is Dupli-Color Med Garnet Red Met with Silver Met on bottom. Dupont clear. Paint is from a rattle can. XS Tunning wheels and tires. Felt for carpet. 94 Vette seats and shifter. F&F Eclipse e-brake and fire ext. Reworked the rear spoiler to do away with rear wiper. BMF emblems with red sharpie highlights. All detail paint was done with Tamiya paints. Custom exhaust. Hope you enjoy.
Jairus
That's nice Bobby! The color combo is the most frequently seen next to the dark blue... Suggestion however, shoot the pictures outside on a sheet of black matt board. The model unfortunately looks like a toy sitting on that white blanket. Shoot the pictures with the camera angle right at or about eye level if you were 1/25 scale. Make sure the background is far enough away to not be in focus so the scale is not a problem. I like to shoot in my driveway so that the house and trees across the street become the background. (hope the neighbors don't find out...) Give it a try and post more pictures... k? cruz
Nice job man, like Jay says, if you can photograph it in another setting that car will really stand out, love the color you chose too......
