DYNO DON’S 1962 SUPER STOCK IMPALA

This is a box stock revell kit with the front end raised and headers from amt’s 65 chevelle wagon. When I built this I didn’t have a good reference photo, and I totally missed the color choice as I used a light ivory instead of a light yellow. Unfortunately the decals were sourced from mcw resins which I believe are no longer available.  Overall this is a really nice building kit that makes a convincing super stocker. Great job Michael on this ‘62, the kicked-up front end looks perfect. I was really impressed with the quality of this Revell kit and would like to build another one someday, maybe a Dave Strickler’s/ Bill Jenkins “Old Reliable”? Can never have too many ‘62 Chevys (Impalas or Bel Airs!).
