Dragracer Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 ###### Tyrone, I just might have to start hating you ,(just kidding!), your builds are some of the best I've seen on either MCM or SA forums, when I get done with the Nova (if it turns out good enough)my next build that I'm planning on is going to be a nitrous GTO, & I will be using you builds as inspiration on it (not to mention probably coping it pretty much ). What do you have planned next?

Dragracer Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 I followed this build on another forum. Outstanding work as always. What is the Koni dial on the passenger side of the interior? It's to make adjustments to the Koni shocks.
tyrone Posted February 16, 2011 Author Posted February 16, 2011 Thanks for the comments fellas I get all my hoses from protech they have the best stuff out there in my opinion, the koni box is for the electric coil over shocks, alot of the pro mods have this set up here's a pic and thanks for following along guys.
tyrone Posted February 18, 2011 Author Posted February 18, 2011 I got the transmissin finished up, and took a few mock up pics, thanks for looking...
Bastardo Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 This has got to be one of the most beautifull pro mod models I've seen in years... I'm in love with it Checking out the gearbox you posted... Love the way it looks, but... I have no idea what those valves (or are they switches?)are supposed to be/do/whatever. Could you explain the way this works in 1:1? Just a fewwords will do...
SuperStockAndy Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Checking out the gearbox you posted... Love the way it looks, but... I have no idea what those valves (or are they switches?)are supposed to be/do/whatever. Could you explain the way this works in 1:1? Just a fewwords will do... Those are the air shifter buttons. Those big cylinders on top of the transmission are what actually shifts it.
W117monte Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 (edited) I might be in the minority here, but i think it looks super nasty in primer! Edited February 18, 2011 by W117monte
Dragracer Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Love the pic's of the trannie, looks awesome (as usual), the car does look nasty in primer, but wait till you see it in full color!, I'm sure it will look even nastier.
brett Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 great work on the trans T Keep it up we want to see some color on this badboy
glenn Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 it looks so good in the primer i vote for some type of matte finish
bigmikevee Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Hey Tyrone, This looks great, love the extra detail you put into you work. Show us more!! Mike
tyrone Posted February 19, 2011 Author Posted February 19, 2011 (edited) Thanks for the comments fellas, I got a little work done on this one last night, I got the sensors done on the headers and got the coil wired and mounted on the firewall. The front end is ready to go, I got the holes done for the headers, I decided to scribe the louvers on the rear quarters, and put on another coat of primer, I'm still not sure on the color I like the red like Tamo's ride but I saw this one the other day and I like it also, what do you guys think??? If I do go with the blue it will still have the yenko stripes, thanks for looking and comments welcome. Edited February 19, 2011 by tyrone
DWR Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Tyrone. This is an incredible build, I am curious how you hang the front end sheet metal on the chassis. Can you show an underside photo of the fron end sheet metal please? Thanks.DWR
Dragracer Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 The Camaro's lookin' good, the red really looks nice,but....blue has always been my favorite color, gonna be a hard choice to make but I'm sure whichever you choose it'll look great!. Surprise us.
Reeves Racing Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Either way it's going to be a knock out. It looks just like the real car for stance and fit. Great job.
W117monte Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 What about butternut with black yenko stripes?
1320wayne Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Coming along nicely Tyrone. Can't wait to see the color.
comp1839 Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 phenominal work tyrone! simply incredable!
