bandit1 Posted March 2, 2013 Author Posted March 2, 2013 Got a possible solution to the rear suspension issue that is suppose to exist but doesnt!...Ill show ya in a bit what i mean when the glue dries!
midwest 1953 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Building one of these now...did not have problems with rear suspension. How ever I do have a problem with the back of the front fenders fouling with the battery boxes when you open or close. Bottom edge overlaps almost 1/16th of an inch. Thinking probably a spacer between grille and hood mounts.
freightshaker Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 I will have to take some, it's at our scrapyard shop but since I got a different job I don't get over that way as much as I'd like. I'll see if my brother can snap a few n send me.

Comments and Criticizm welcomed!
mackinac359 Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 For a sleeper equipped tractor? A good 1.5 to 2 inches (actual) looks nice. Tim

Truck parts Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Looking good so far on what you have got done. I have built two of them one with a sleeper & one without a sleeper.
bandit1 Posted September 3, 2013 Author Posted September 3, 2013 Update: Lengthened the frame for now i can build a tractor unit without worrying about putting a dent in the back sleeper wall!
