o-man
Attempted to make it look like the one parked in garage. Couldn't get glass to stay put. I need to get a magnifying glass and a much steadier hand for the rub strips.
The Creative Explorer
much steadier hand for the rub strips. No need to if you mask them. I can't make a straight line either, the trick is to mask the strips and windowrubbers, then paint. Gives a nice smooth and straight line. Shelby 427 1965
Looks good, masking and painting if you don't have a steady hand would really set it off
Onzatrip
Looks so good!! Am looking at getting one of those kits how was it? Was it prepainted?
o-man
Looks so good!! Am looking at getting one of those kits how was it? Was it prepainted? No, molded in white. I think there are three versions of this kit. I have the other black box top and there is also one with a white car. Fairly simple. Will make either LHD or RHD. Obviously model from JDM land has a back seat which wasn't offered here. I will not make the same masking mistake on the second one I build. Will be more of a current style Import painted blue with white wheels and red seats. If anyone has suggestions for lowering rear, which has a metal axle, I'm all ears.
