Thanks Stray really peed off sprayed the tank, had it glued to piece of stick layed it on my table hanging over the end to dry came home dinner time and it had fell off the stick and onto the carpet, (insert swear words here)

hope a coat of varnish will hide it, what do you think.

Its still looks good mate. Maybe try rubbing the affected area with a light sand and doing one more coat before clear?

Way cool finish mate. Really impressed with the quality of the parts, the paint is groovy and the finish is downright spot on.

1/6 huh? Thats a buttload of detail in it.

Thanks yep these 1/6 bikes are down right awesome the detail is spot on, and they go together so easy a half blind bloke in handcuffs couldn't do a bad job of them.

In late 1980 when the GSX1100S Katana hit the street, it was claimed by Suzuki to be the fastest mass-production motorcycle in the world, ensuring the new looks were matched by unprecedented performance levels.

So radical was the design departure from previous mass-market cycles, that most major motorcycle magazines of the era thought, the design would not appeal to the masses.

Nevertheless it was a sales success, and the motorcycle had a lasting impact on motorcycle design, portions of the design ethos are still visible in many current sport motorcycles, including the faired-in aspects of both the seat and the tank.

Hi all did some work on the CB's frame today, looking nice and rusty.

Did some work on the engine, its been dropped this side, should I give the other side the same treatment or is that going to far, mine was only dropped on one side but I am sure they have been both sides.

Hi all here is todays little bit.

I decided to do an experiment I've stuck a bit of foil on the tank and I'm hoping that when ive put the top coat on when I scratch through it it will look like the metal of the tank showing through.

also I'm trying to show the buleing effect on a chrome exhaust

Ridden all my life love bikes, missus forced me to get rid of my bike last year miss it, but her friends son died on on recently and she decided I was too old and they are too dangerous.
