wdcav Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 (edited) Here's my C6 Z06 I did shortly after GM started advertising the real thing. It's always displayed in a AMT display case. (Which I can't find anymore, did AMT really discontinue these?) Really loved this kit, and I may just have to have another. I'll have to work on my camera skills here and get shots of my others. Thank you for the compliment. It's actually MM Acryl Arctic Blue Metallic, and it's a great color. I saw a regular C6 the other day wearing blue, and I just thought "that is soo close!". We can be friends, but you might not wanna after you hear that my avatar isn't meant to be a compliment for Toyota.
ismaelg Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Cool! My favorite car in my favorite color....
Raul_Perez Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Hmmm....I wonder which Toyota I can fit a Z06 chassis under?
peter31a Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Nice Vette Matt! Just curious. Why are the front turn signals green. Not a criticism, just curious. Optical illusion or?
kelson Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 great build! noticed some people who have built this kit say the wheels end up off center, did you have this problem?or did they line up ok.?
wdcav Posted February 2, 2008 Author Posted February 2, 2008 Nice Vette Matt! Just curious. Why are the front turn signals green. Not a criticism, just curious. Optical illusion or? Optical illusion I'm hoping, they are actually MM acryl turn signal amber and look yellowish-ugly in person. Maybe I should have taken the case off to photograph it. great build! noticed some people who have built this kit say the wheels end up off center, did you have this problem?or did they line up ok.? Not sure what you mean off center, but I didn't have any problems with the wheels looking right. Wheels sit nicely inside the wheel wells and look about right. Everything went together great without any modifying or tweaking. Gotta say Revell made a great kit on this one quality wise. I think I'll build another one and try for Sunset Orange Metallic. This one was actually based on the old blue, LeMans Blue Metallic, not the blue I originally pictured, but it nearly matches either curiously. Thanks for the great comments guys!
