  1. Thanks for the comments, I cut 7/8 from the edge of the door , then 1/2 in. from the raised roof , and 3/8 in. from the lower roof. As for the frame I cut between the frist and third cross members about 2 5/8 in.
  2. Just a up date on the 86' Aerodyne . I got the frame shortened up this weekend , this gives you an ideal what it's going to look like.

  8. So I was setting here looking at all the model that are falling apart ,I came upon an Kenworth Aerodyne COE , being one of my favorite trucks that thought I would rebuild it . I thought would try some thing different ,I decided to cut it down to an 86" cab.

  14. Thanks guys, sorry it was posted on the workbench . As for the construction it went together really well, I would suggest using a metal front axle because of the weight of the cab.
