  1. another horrible beast from the lab!!! love it! very inspiring.
  2. the chevy 3100 is box stock (no mods at all). enjoy!
  3. it has come to pass that i have actually finished a hobby project. As i said at the beginning of the thread, this is my first 'auto' build after a lot of years, so it was decided to keep it with no mods whatsoever. here is a pic of the final product. i will take more pics, and add them to the "under glass" section soon. thinking my next project should be a clean one, so i may do a mid to late 30's ford pickup, or what we like to call in aus, a ute.
  4. noice!!!!
  5. nice. i only just bought an airbrush. the chevy is the test subject for the basecoat. lol
  6. i have about 15'000 points of orks, so they are my no. 1 army. i was tearing up when i was putting the first one together. hahaha. then ran around the room making dakka sounds.lol.

  10. here are a couple of wip weathering pics.Stage 1- i have just sponged on the rust colours on the cab.
  11. after dislocating my elbow, i am now healed enough to get back into the truck. its amazing how much a right elbow is needed for hobbies. lol the cab is now in place, with the firewall and inner guards glued and weathered. so that should be everything under the bonnet done, or should i say "hood"??
  12. and here is the body with the main colour i it. first time using the airbrush, so lots of learning.
  13. progress has slowed somewhat, as i am learning how to use my new airbrush. body undercoated, so main colour on next. pics hopefully soon.lol
